If you attended Georgetown between the late 1970s and 2011, and had a penchant for late nights that concluded with hunger pangs, chances are good you paid at least one visit to the Georgetown Cafe (1623 Wisconsin Avenue). Famous for its 24/7 operation, sticky table tops, and signature “Dinners from the Middle East”, the Georgetown Cafe inoculated thousands of Hoyas from hangovers. The legendary landmark closed its doors in 2011 - it’s now a bridal boutique - but you can tap into some of your archived sense memories via the one-of-a kind t-shirt we designed from a vintage menu we absconded with in February of 1989.
A portion of all sales of this product will be donated to the Georgetown Scholars Program on behalf of the Class of 1989.
